Vera M. Alesescu

Vera M. Alesescu age 83, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at the Laurels Nursing Home in Massillon. She was born on August 8, 1922 in Navarre to the late Arthur and Ada Snyder. Vera was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a 1940 graduate of Washington High School. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers: Carl and Gilbert Snyder 1 Sister: Lucille McCusker 2 infant siblings Vera is survived by her husband Michael Alesescu whom she shared 59 yrs. of marriage with. Daughters: Cinda (David) Turansky of Canton, OH Bonnie Davis of Canton, OH Sister: Florence Provost of Navarre, OH Grandchildren: Melissa A. Kandel, Ryan K. Davis, Tammy M. Goodrich and Jessica L. Turansky Great-grandchildren: Joseph, Kayla, Morgan, Noah and Tyler Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon at 12:00 p.m. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
