Vera Diehl

Vera Diehl, 85, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

She was born on April 29, 1937 to the late Pearl and Grace (Millard) Warren.

Vera enjoyed going camping, thrift shopping, gambling, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with her large family. She loved her cat Baby, and loved home decor. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, She is preceded in death by her children Richard McGuire and Brenda Bishop; her siblings Betty, Roberta, Ralph, Jim, Bill, Max, Bobby, and Rex.

Vera is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Jerry Diehl; children, Yvonne (Gene) Strader, Larry (Alex) McGuire, Donald (Edna Millard) McGuire, Jennifer Pethtel, Kathy (Frank) Hardin, David (Stacy) Diehl; siblings, Mike (Brenda) Warren and Howard (Monica) Warren; 16 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with burial to follow at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.

The family requests that contributions in Vera’s memory be made to Guardian Angel Home Care and Hospice.
