Velma "Val" L. Seek

Velma “Val” L. Seek, age 72 of Jackson Twp. passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. She was born on January 28, 1949 to the late Harold and Virginia Norman. She attended Northwest High School in Canal Fulton. She married Robert L. Seek on October 13, 1979 and they shared 42 years together. Val was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother who took great pride in her family. She was a person who always made herself available to family, night or day, and was unconditionally supportive to her family . Val enjoyed reading her Mystery and Romance novels and was known for her baking, cooking, painting a vast majority of things and making crafts. Val and her husband enjoyed traveling to a variety of destinations, with her favorite being Las Vegas. Val would not want people to feel sorrow at her passing but would want everyone to rejoice in her memory. Val leaves to cherish her memory her husband Robert; her daughters Toni Yeager and Jennifer Seek; her grandchildren Kourtni Yeager, Toney King, Reighn King, Jade Young, Treymier Yeager Angelo DePalma; her great-grandchildren Kourtez Yeager, Kourdell Yeager, Kourvon Yeager and first great grand-daughter to be and Val’s namesake Kourmarra Mae Lou Yeager as well as her extended family.
