Velber L. "Gus" Gosser

Velber L. "Gus" Gosser, age 76 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 with his family at his side. He was born in Russell Springs, KY on July 1, 1941 and was the son of the late Lillard and Artie (Kissee) Gosser. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy. He worked as a sales representative in the furniture industry. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Massillon. Gus is survived by his wife Barbara Ann (Dethlefs) Gosser, his son Timothy (Tina) Gosser, his daughter Sherry Woods, his grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Cory, Audra and Victoria, his great grandchildren, Connor, Lacey and Elliot and his sisters, Judy, Janis and Jane. A service with military honors will take place for the family at a later date. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in his name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
