Trina Marie Haught

Trina Marie Haught, 44, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, following a courageous battle with cancer on March 21, 2021. She was born June 3, 1976 in Massillon to Chris C. and Sharon L. (Piper) Nichols. Trina was a graduate of Tuslaw High School, Class of 1994 and Ashland University, Class of 1999. She was dedicated to her faith, family and friends. She was known for her grace and gratitude. She loved to decorate and loved her church and church family. She was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, Trina is survived by her husband, James E. Haught, whom she married on May 5, 2001; their children, Elsie, Lucas and Daniel; and a brother, Trent Nichols. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March25, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at The Canton Baptist Temple and on Friday one hour prior to a 10:30am funeral service in the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
