Tricia Kathleen Smith

Tricia Kathleen Smith, 45, of Massillon, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, following a lengthy illness. Tricia was born on June 23, 1979 in Massillon, to Mark and Cheryl (Fox) Smith.

Tricia was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1997 graduate of Washington High School where she played the Alto Saxophone in the symphonic band, Tiger Swing Band, and the marching band. She worked as an STNA for several nursing homes over many years. She was very proud to be a Physicians Assistant at the Ohio Foot and Ankle Center. She loved her dog Oliver, and her bird, Summer. She also enjoyed dancing, and hanging out with her friends. Tricia had a caring and loving heart. Tricia was a believer and did receive Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.

She is survived by her parents, Mark (Cheryl) Smith; sister, Stacie ( fiancé, Brian Ruble) Smith; and aunts and uncles, Judy Massaro, Jeff (Judy) Fox, Steve Fox, and Scott (Monica) Riffle.

Tricia was preceded in death by her aunt, Brenda Shipley - Fox; uncle, Jerry Fox; and aunt, Shirley Fox.

The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10-11 am, with the funeral service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research: www.stjude.org.
