Patricia (Tricia) Clare Sober, passed peacefully at her home on March 3, 2016, surrounded by those she loved and those that loved her. Tricia is survived by her siblings Margaret (Tim) Cocklin, Marc (Kelly) Sober, Martin Sober and Janet Morris; two nephews Andrew (Tiffany) Cocklin and Stephen Sober; niece Megan (Ryan) Ridgley, five great-nieces and nephews; and her dearest friend, John Kennedy. She is preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Dolores Sober. Tricia was born October 17, 1964 in Massillon, Ohio. She was a graduate of Southgate School, and a client at West Stark Center, Whipple Dale Center and most recently Gentle Brook in Hartville. Tricia was often a participant in the Special Olympics and was so proud to have been a part of the Sounds of Silence choir. She traveled the community and beyond with the group, most memorably performing at the first inauguration of Bill Clinton in January 1993. In addition to the above, Tricia will long be remembered for her love of drawing, shopping, and family! A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday at 11 AM at the Paquelet Funeral Home, with visitation on Sunday from 4-7 PM. The family wishes to publically thank the management and staff of New Horizons Developmental Providers and Aultman Hospice & Compassionate Care Center for their heartfelt kindness, concern and love.
