Tommy Lewis Longshore

June 26, 1943 — January 11, 2015

Tommy L. Longshore, went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2015. He was born in Massillon, OH on June 26, 1943 to the late Willie and Lillie (Potter) Longshore. Tommy was a Golden Gloves Boxer. He retired from Republic Steel. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, music and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Thomasina Ashcraft Longshore; his children Tommy Longshore Jr., Thomasina Longshore, Tracy Longshore, Robert (Storm)Vann, Tyvette Longshore and Timothy Longshore; his stepson Falando (Tammy) Ashcraft; his sisters Ruby Copeland, and Bonnie Longshore; his brothers Johnny (Bonnie)Longshore, Bobby (Rebecca) Longshore and Jeffrey (Laurie) Longshore, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A special friend at the time of our needs Ella Relford. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his daughters Kimberly Longshore and Tommica Longshore; his brothers Willie, Amos and Jimmy Longshore. A Homegoing Service will be held at 11a.m. on January 17, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Bishop Gerald Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 9a.m until the time of the service. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
