Todd A. Blankenship age 41 of Massillon passed away August 15, 2007 at Affinity Medical Center Doctors Campus. Todd was born February 3, 1966 in Massillon. He was a 1984 graduate of Jackson High School. For 10 years he was employed at Massillon Community Hospital and is currently on disability. For three years, he owned and operated the Happy Home Handy Man Service. Todd will be remembered as a devoted father and husband. For his son he coached Little League and continued with Scouting. He was most proud of 19 years of sobriety. Todd never met a stranger and was known for his smile and willingness to help others. Todd is survived by wife of seventeen years, Gail (Blaumeiser) Blankenship, two children Chance & Kaida all of the residence. In addition he has a mother Helen (Heim) Mitchner, a sister Nancy Contrael both of Akron and a brother David Blankenship of Carrolton, OH. At Todd’s request, he asked those joining with his family, please come in comfortable clothes: shorts and sandals. There will be a celebration of Todd’s life Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Rev. John Gruneich of Faith Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Cub Scouts at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
