Titus Krempel, 90 of Dalton, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Titus was born on January 5, 1928 in Hambrucken, Germany, the son of Wendelin and Theresa (Koehler) Krempel. He retired from Union Drawn as a special shape tool and die maker after 33 years of service. He was known as a Master Craftsman. His hobbies included taking care of his beloved cows and chickens, and bailing hay. He loved all his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his wife, Anna of 67 years. Titus was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son Karl, and brothers, Johann, Martin and Thomas Krempel. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Kramer) Krempel whom he shared 67 years of marriage; children and their spouses, Mary Ann (Jon) Snyder, Karen (Bob) Murphy, Doris (John) Rosenberry and John Krempel; grandchildren, Melissa (Greg) Meyer, MD, Kristen (Miguel) Chavez, Laura, Ryan, and Sean Murphy, Brook (Steve) Mumaw, and Rachel, Tara, and Jill Hollenbaugh, and Kate Badaroux; great grandchildren, Annabelle Murphy, Avery, Tessa and Isaiah Chavez, and Noah, Gabriel, Ella and Samuel Meyer, Titus Hoy, Norah Mumaw and Elias Holt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Titus’s name to: Walsh University c/o Our Lady of Perpetual Help: 2020 E. Maple Street, North Canton, OH 44720.
