Tinnie Ruth Hewitt

Tinnie R. Hewitt, 67, of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 7, 2014 following an extended illness. She was born in Canton on June 29, 1946 to the late Shield & Lillian Mae (Irvin) Parks. Tinnie was a graduate of Washington High School. She was employed at Eaton Manufacturing and then became a care giver at several hospitals, nursing homes and private clients. She was last employed at Legends Care Center until her retirement. She loved helping people and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid bowler. She is survived by her daughter Rachelle Hewitt; companion Eddie Shell; eight siblings Amanda Sanders, Loretta Parks, Holly Williams, Mickey Watkins, Sheila Harris, Deidra Toles, Brian Toles and Steven Williams; best friend Joy Anderson; and a host of special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is also preceded in death by a sister Shirley Simpson. Friends and family may gather at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 2:00PM-3:00PM with a memorial service at 3:00PM.
