Timothy "Tim" Arthur LeBeau, 68, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away peacefully May 18, 2024. He was born on January 2, 1956 to the late Edward and Judith LeBeau.
Tim grew up in Canton and Jackson Township and was a 1974 Graduate of Jackson Memorial High School along with his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years Jean. Tim and Jean raised their family in Jackson, and Tim enjoyed spending his time coaching his kids’ youth sports teams. He was a fan of all sports but particularly enjoyed taking in high school baseball and football games. Golf was another sport Tim had a true passion for, and he made many lifelong friends on the course. He and Jean enjoyed golfing together in a couple’s golf league for many years. Tim’s favorite place to relax was Stony Lake, Ontario where he vacationed for nearly 30 years with his parents, wife, and children. Time at the lake was spent fishing, waterskiing, and telling stories at Irwin Inn Lodge. He was always on the hunt for “Walter” a fictitious fish who swam the dark waters of Stony Lake. Tim was also a talented craftsman, spending many nights in his woodworking shop and over the years handmaking beautiful and thoughtful gifts for his family and friends to enjoy.
He is survived by his loving wife Jean LeBeau; children, Maggi (Adam) Pyrka and Chad (Audrey) LeBeau; grandchildren, Paige and Maren Pyrka and Ellie and Theodore LeBeau; niece, Sharon (Matthew) Green; brothers-in-laws, Ernest and Edward Moll, and sister-in-law Julia Patton; and step-father, John Lane.
There will be a private graveside service held by the family at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tim's memory to the Stark County Humane Society.
