Timothy S. Simmers

Timothy S. Simmers, 51, passed away on April 10, 2016, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on September 21, 1964. Tim graduated from Tuslaw High School and joined the Marine Corps. He worked for Bella Roofing. He was dedicated to his family and enjoyed people, he never met a stranger. He always wanted to help and had a great love for animals. He is survived by his wife, Laura Lee (Woods) Simmers, whom he married on May 11, 1985; a son, Charles Nichols; two daughters, Cassandra Simmers and Melissa Simmers all of Massillon; nine grandchildren; his mother, Linda K. (Jones) Simmers; a sister, Elizabeth Simmers; and two brothers, Jim Simmers and Dennis Simmers. He was preceded in death by his father, James P. Simmers.
