Timothy Ray "Tim" Geyer, Sr., passed away on his 62nd birthday at Aultman Compassionate Care Center surrounded by his family. He was born on October 5, 1954 in Canton, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. Tim was a 1972 graduate of Glenwood High School, he then went on to work at The Timken Company retiring in 2006. He was a member of Faith Family Church in North Canton and served on the security team. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Lee Geyer. He is survived by his wife, Diana Lee (Muncy) Geyer, whom he married on June 14, 2006, his sons, Timothy (Jennifer) Geyer, Jr. and Jon (Che) Geyer, his stepchildren, Timothy Coughenour and Teresa (John) Hall, his mother Ruth E. Geyer and his brother Tom (Marti "Little Sis") Geyer. Also surviving are his 11 grandchildren, Cole, Nick, Makalee, Caleb, Kayson, Makaylee, Brandon, Brileigh, Zohie, Madison and John and his mother in law Dot Muncy, two sister in laws, Sheila (Mike) Pucella and Anita (Mike) Rachel. A service to celebrate the life of Tim Geyer will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. at Faith Family Church, 8200 Freedom Avenue in North Canton. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon from 3-6 p.m. and on Monday one hour before the service at the church. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses at Aultman Hospital and all of the staff and volunteers at Aultman Compassionate Care Center for their amazing care and support. They would also like to thank Dr. Schmotzer and his staff for their wonderful care. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
