Timothy "Mike" M. Gehring, Jr.

Timothy M. “Mike” Gehring, Jr., 38, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2021. He was born on July 14, 1983 in Canton to Timothy M. Gehring, Sr. and Deborah Piatt. Mike attended Central Catholic and Massillon High School. He was currently working in the oil industry and was employed with Evolution Well Services where he did electric fracking. Prior to Evolution, Mike worked for High Point Construction. His work ethic was something he was very proud of. Mike worked as much as he had to support his family and make sure they were taken care of. He met the love of his life, Raejean Coleman in 2006 and they married on April 30, 2014. Mike was so dedicated to Raejean and they did absolutely everything together. The love they shared was unbreakable. He was an amazing father to his daughters London and Makayla and was the best girl dad you could ask for. When he wasn’t spending time with his family, Mike could be found with his other pride and joy, which was his BMW that he always kept immaculate. Not only did he love his BMW but he also loved his motorcycle, his drones, RC cars and his audio equipment. He also loved watching sports and enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was taking London fishing or camping and hiking. Mike will be remembered most for his loving and caring personality. He also had the ability to make anyone happy; his laugh and smile could fill a room. Mike would do anything for anyone and always looked for the best in others. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Raejean Gehring; his daughters who he adored, London and Makayla; his dad Tim (Katrina) Gehring, Sr.; his mom Debbie Piatt; step-father Joey Brown; brother Dillon Gehring; step-brother Danny Drummond; step-sisters Lia Drummond, Chantel Ramsey, Ayla Brown & family; paternal & maternal grandmothers Rozetta Gehring and Judy Piatt; mother-in-law Carlene Coleman; father-in-law Raymond Coleman; sister-in-law Brittany (Paul) Dargie; nephews Jayden & Bryce; long-time Big Brother Rob Aneshansel; his furry companion Gixer; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfathers, Walter Gehring and William Piatt. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 31st from 1-3 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A service will follow at 3 p.m.
