Timothy H. Murray

Timothy H. Murray age 48 of Massillon passed away Saturday March 24, 2007 at his residence following a long illness. He was born July 1, 1958 in Steubenville to J. Brian & Willetta (McDermitt) Murray. Tim lived most of his life in Massillon and was a 1976 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; Elks #441 and has been employed by Kell Painting & Decorating since 1983. Tim had been active with the Tiger Band Booster Parents and bowled with the Elks. Tim would invite anyone to pitch a game of horse shoes in his back yard. Afterwards they would converse and socialize around the fire pit. His father J. Brian Murray passed away in 1992. He is survived by his wife Deborah (Kandle) Murray with whom he would have shared 20 years of marriage on August 15th; two children: a daughter, Cara Murray and a son Brian Murray. His Mother, Willetta ‘Billie’ Murray and three brothers: Terry (Susan) Murray of Massillon, Craig (Carol Powers) Murray of Puyallup, WA, and Kevin (Cindy) Murray of Alliance. And a number of nieces and nephews A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Thursday at St. Joseph Church in Massillon, his pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The Elks will have a service Wednesday at 5:45 PM.
