Timothy E. Ehrhart, age 61 of Massillon, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on September 2, 1948 in Massillon and was the son of the late Robert and Theo (North) Ehrhart. He was a lifelong area resident And a 1966 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict where he received the Purple Heart. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, photography and fishing. He was a member of the North Lawrence Fish and Game Club and was a member of the Canton Temple of Praise. He had been employed by Value City Furniture as a service technician. He is survived by his wife, Becky S. (Arney) Ehrhart, whom he married on March 3, 1973, his daughter, Terri D. Hoven of Canal Fulton, his son, Staff Sgt. Timothy R. (Tiffany) Ehrhart, stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA and currently serving his third tour of duty in Iraq, his grandchildren, Haley Weaver, Kaitlyn Nikole Ehrhart and Hunter Hoven and his brother, Michael Ehrhart of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Tim Ehrhart will take place on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
