Thomas "Tom" L. Weisburn, age 82, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Tom was born on December 6, 1930 in Canton, to the late Harry and Helen Weisburn. He was a 1949 Graduate of Washington High School. Tom married Mary Haren on June 28, 1958 and they shared almost 55 wonderful years together. Tom served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from The Timken Company after 44 years of service as a Straddle Truck Driver. In his spare time Tom enjoyed woodcarving, camping, sailing and family vacations at the beach. Upon retirement, Tom and Mary took the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and abroad. Tom was a parishioner at Holy Family Parish for over 50 years, where he was a long time bingo volunteer. Tom will forever be remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. Tom is survived by his wife Mary; his children Beth (Eric Rossin) Weisburn, Jim (Deb) Weisburn, John (Hope) Weisburn, Diane Weisburn, Dave (Jenny) Weisburn and Joe (Laura) Weisburn; his grandchildren Brian (Liz), Ben, Sam, Al, Leah, Hannah, Madeline, Sabrina, Mary, Jane and Henry; his sister Hilda Paumier and his brother Richard Weisburn. Tom was preceded in death by his sister Mary McDonald and his brother Robert Weisburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Holy Family Parish in Navarre at 11 A.M. with Father Michael Seifert officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
