Thomas "Tom" B. Baker

Thomas "Tom" B. Baker Jr., age 81 of Jackson Twp; passed away on December 01, 2016. He was born in Massillon on April 09, 1935 to the late Thomas Baker and Jayne Ripple. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He married Alice S. Harrold on September 19, 1958 and they shared 58 years together until his passing. Tom served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked in the Shipping Department at Eaton Corporation for 32 years until his retirement. Tom was a long time member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed horseracing, golf, playing cards and traveling. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He was the greatest Husband, Dad and Grandpa ever! He is survived by his wife Alice; his daughters Lisa (Chris) Baker-Long, Julie (Todd) Schmidt and Jennifer Baker; his grandchildren Brandon, Tyler, and Brooke Schmidt as well as family members and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Wednesday, December 07, 2016 at 11a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday December 06, 2016 from 6-8pm and 1 hour prior to the service.
