Thomas S. Shonk

Thomas Scott Shonk, 59, of Jackson Township, passed away on September 21, 2022 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on March 27, 1963 in Massillon, the son of Jack and Judy (Lee) Shonk. He was a 1981 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Tom worked as a machine operator for Jackson Township Highway Department for 30 years. He enjoyed wood working and repairing lawn mowers. Tom loved the outdoors and going camping. Most importantly he loved being with his family. We will miss you and love you always.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Kathy (Taylor) Shonk with whom he shared 40 years of marriage; children, Christina (Felix Trevino, Jr.) Jury, and Steven (Brittany Spurrier) Shonk; Sarrah Jury, and Sylas Jury; brother, Todd (Sandy) Shonk; sister, Lori Shonk; and 1 niece and 1 nephew.
