Thomas R. Miller

Thomas R. Miller, age 62, of Massillon, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Massillon Campus of Affinity Medical Center. He was born September 7, 1945 in Massillon to the late Robert & Myrna (Potts) Miller. Tom was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School and entered the US Army in 1966 serving in Viet Nam. For 29 years Tom has been employed as a field technician for Dominion East Ohio Gas. ‘Miller' as he was affectionately known to his family and friends was dedicated to his work, Nascar and stayed with the Browns thru thick and thin. Miller was there for his wife Peggy, loyal to the kids and ‘papa' would do anything for the grandkids. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Miller Jr., step-father, Rico Bellante and step-son, Brian Alexander. Miller will be loved and greatly missed by his wife of 23 years, Peggy (Kirven) Miller, three children: Tina (Chad) Hoffman of Massillon, Tammy (Lonny) Wolfe of Ellet, Timothy (Tina) Miller of Louisville; two step children, Thomas (Stephanie) Alexander of Kent and Michael Alexander of Dahlongea, GA; a sister, Linda (Ron) Sponseller of Akron, 13 grandchildren and his four legged buddy, ‘Sammie Joe'. Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service of remembrance at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
