Thomas Manning Weise

Thomas Manning Weise, age 57 of Perry Hts. passed away Saturday May 16, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 9, 1951 in Cleveland , OH to Milton & Helen (Redmond) Weise. Tom was a 1970 graduate of Perry High School. He was a self-employed painter-decorator in the Canton-Massillon area for many years. Tom had a large circle of good friends with whom he shared many good times, stories and conversations. He will be forever grateful for his buddies who were always there for him. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Weise in 1967. Tom is survived by his father Milton Weise of Canton, 2 brothers and a sister: Richard (Joni) Weise of Statesville, NC, R. Bradford Weise of Canton, and Barbara (Frederic) Engel of Le Vesinet, France. Four beloved nieces that were dear to his heart : Idell (Ludovic) Marin of Montpellier, France, Emily (Michael) Weise-King of Arlington, VA, Celeste Engel and Beatrice Engel of Le Vesinet, France. At 6 PM Thursday, Bishop Gerald ‘Jerry’ Evans will lead a time of remembering & sharing about Tom’s life. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 5 PM to 6 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and there will be a time to share memories and refreshments following the service.
