Thomas L. Hoffner

Thomas L. Hoffner, age 77, passed away June 11, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Massillon to Herman and Thelma (Ertle) Hoffner. He was a 1962 graduate of Central Catholic and following graduation, Tom enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed aboard the USS Taylor in Pearl Harbor from 1962-1966. When he returned, he married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Judy (Harmon) on October 15, 1966. Tom worked for the Hoover Company and retired after 32 years of service. He never owned a dirty car and he loved spending time in his garage keeping them spotless. Tom also enjoyed driving his hotrod to the local car shows and spending time with his car friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Eugene, Richard, Charles, David and his sister Mary. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy; brother Wayne (Barbara) and special friends Bill and Deanna Maddrell and family; and many nieces and nephews.
