Thomas Jack Prunty

Thomas Jack Prunty, 84, of Navarre, passed away on November 13, 2019 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born on May 7, 1935 in Ritchie County West Virginia, to the late Paul and Maud (Rexroad) Prunty. Tom married Wilma Zinn on June 29, 1957 and they shared 60 loving years together before her passing in 2017. Tom worked as a machinist in the brake pad division at Goodyear and retired from there after 30 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to flea markets and loved going to West Virginia to his campsite he had. Tom was also a handyman. He remodeled numerous homes in his lifetime and was a jack-of-all-trades. He will be deeply missed by his children, Tina Majzoub, Gregory Prunty and Jason Prunty; grandchildren Melissa Hall, Jacqueline Brown, James Majzoub, Emily Prunty and Jack Prunty; great-grandchildren Noah, Karrington, Makenzie, Gage, Lincoln and Brooklyn; and 6 siblings. In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by one sister. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 10a.m. to 11a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
