Thomas G. Miller

Thomas G. Miller, age 54, of North Lawrence passed away Monday, October 12, 2009, at his residence after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born November 25, 1954, in Marysville, Ohio, to the late Noah and Sylvia (Stoll) Miller. He was a 1973 graduate of Washington High School. Tom was Plant Superintendent at FiberCorr Mills, LLC where he worked for 33 years. Tom was a devoted family man, especially to his grandchildren. He loved to travel and never met a casino he didn’t like. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Leon. Tom is survived by his wife Kathy A. (Wadian) Miller with whom he shared 34 years of marriage on September 13th. They have two children Drs. Eric (Maggie) Miller of Akron, and Marcie (Michael) Nelson of Nashville, TN. He adored his two grandchildren Emily and Daniel Miller. He has a brother Larry (Bonnie) Miller of Massillon and several nieces and nephews. A service celebrating Thomas Miller’s life will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Jeff Sanders will officiate. A committal service will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave NW, North Canton, OH, 44720.
