Theresa M. Albaugh-Reardon

Theresa M. Albaugh-Reardon, age 66 of Massillon passed away Thursday February 12, 2009 at Aultman Hospital. Tess was born October 20, 1942 in Massillon to the late Clifford & Helen (Heimann) Fries. She was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School and a 1964 graduate of Kent State University, with a degree in Elementary Education & Library Science. Tess taught the 8th grade for 37 years at St. Barbara’s School and was principal of the parish Sunday School Program for 35 years. Tess will be remembered as a strong willed person with definite opinions. She gave her best to her students and expected the same in return. Her students knew she was definitely for them. She shared with her friends, and the community of what she had. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband James Albaugh (2002), a daughter Tina Albaugh (2008), and a sister Peggy Hicks (2008). Tess will be missed by her husband Ed Reardon whom she married on Valentine Day 2008, children; Brandon J. Albaugh, Brittany Michelle Albaugh all of the residence and Michelle Albaugh. She has two brothers and sisters in laws; Richard & Karen Fries and Deacon Joseph & Kathy Fries all of Jackson Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday February 18, 2009 at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Massillon. Her pastor Fr. Thomas Cebula will officiate. Friends can visit with the family on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Donations can be made to St. Barbara’s School.
