Theodore 'Ted' Montini

Theodore T. Montini age 83 of Massillon passed away August 9, 2006 at the Massillon Community Hospital. Ted was born July 6, 1923 in Massillon to the late Thomas & Sarah (Dottavio) Montini. He was a 1942 graduate of Washington High School. During WW II, he served in the Army and service in Africa & Europe and received a service medal with five bronze stars. He retired in 1985 from Eaton Corp. His wife Ilda Montini passed away in 1993. He is survived by a daughter and son in law; Tina & Tom Cardinal. Grandchildren: TJ Cardinal & Tara (Mike) Maxheimer; and soon to be born great grandchild. A sister, Mary (Elde) Stalder, and a brother, Jim (Cynthia) Montini and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. His pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
