Theodore (Ted) B. Parson

Theodore (Ted) B. Parson, age 74 of Massillon, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center following a sudden illness. Ted was born on September 26, 1935 in New Philadelphia the son of the late Mary (Cramer) Parson and Emmett Parson. He graduated in 1953 from New Philadelphia High School. Ted worked as a machinist at the Timken Co. for over 45 years and retired in 1998. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Parson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Patricia A. (Michael) Parson, his daughter, Teri Parson Cecil of Youngstown, OH and sons, Ted (Cheri) Parson of Albuquerque, NM and Adam Parson of Massillon, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren of Albuquerque, NM. A private graveside service will be held at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. There will be no calling hours as were his wishes.
