Theodore J. "Ted" Bonner

Theodore J. "Ted" Bonner, 78 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his home with his family at his side. He was born on July 28, 1937 in Gladwin, WV and was the son of the late Sturley and Iva (Smith) Bonner. Ted retired from Union Drawn after working most of his life at Republic Steel. He was a member of East Greenville United Methodist Church and he was a lifetime member of the Lenape Trail Sportsman's Club. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers. Two brothers survive. He is also survived by his wife, Patricia R. (Wallace) Bonner, whom he married on August 9, 1958, his daughter, Marcia (Bonner) Byerly and her husband Mike, his son, Jeff Bonner and his wife Pam, four grandsons, Jason and Andrew Bonner and Nathan and Jacob Byerly and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2nd from 12-1 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastors Harry and Mary Lou Merryman officiating.
