Theodore G. Glaros

October 29, 1931 — March 13, 2017

Theodore G. Glaros, 85, passed away March 13, 2017 following a brief illness. He was born in Evia, Greece October 29, 1931 to the late George and Stavroula (Sengos) Glaros. Ted was a Marine Engineer, owned Candyland, New Philadelphia, retired from Hydro Dyne 1994, and Tuslaw Schools in 2016 as Latchkey Director. He is survived by his wife Mary, children George (Marie) and Katherine; grandchildren, Kassiani, Sophia, Theodore, Andrew and Nicholas; siblings, Thespina, Koula, and Dimitrios. Special cousin and friend, Dimitrios Sengos, as well as many other beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, both here and in Greece Calling hours are Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 3-5 PM, with a Trisagion service at 4:30 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Massillon. Funeral Liturgy is celebrated on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00AM with Entombment in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church or American Cancer Society.
