Thelma M. Shonk

Thelma M. Shonk, 93 of Massillon, died on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Rose Lane Health Care Center. She was born on July 31, 1918 in Cadiz, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Milhorn) Riley. Thelma enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and going out to eat. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Shonk on February 22, 1995. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Trini (John) Fenton and Beverly (Nick) Sich, 3 sons, Paul A. (Mary) Shonk, Donald R. (Rhona) Shonk and Jack (Judy) Shonk, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
