Thelma M. Otto, age 90 of Sebring, OH, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on March 24, 1921 in Turtle Creek, PA the daughter of the late George and Estelle (Hopson) Walters. She taught motivational speaking through Dale Carnegie and was also an Avon District Manager. Thelma enjoyed teaching crafts at the Arts & Crafts Center in Pittsburgh. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Otto in 2007, her son Thomas Otto, her grandson Kenton Hannaford and her sister Marilyn Walters and her son-in-law Bob Hannaford. Thelma is survived by her daughter Peggy Hannaford of Kansas City, MO; her grandson Thomas E. (Carey) Otto of Cary, NC; her great-grandchildren, Evan & Jake Otto; her sister-in-law, Ruth Otto; her nephew David Otto; her cousin Kathryn Boehs and her friend Alice Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd. N.E., Massillon, OH). Rev. Larry Lalama will be officiating.
