Thelma M. Blosser, age 88 of Perry Township, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1917 in Byesville, Ohio and was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Carroll) Slovensky. She was an area resident for most of her life. Thelma retired in 1978 from the Perry Local Schools where she was the cafeteria manager at Watson Elementary School. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, A.A.R.P. and also volunteered with the American Red Cross. She loved to cook for others and was known for her lively sense of humor. She had the ability to make people smile up until the day she died. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Park Blosser on November 10, 1980 and her siblings, John Slovensky, Irene Bury, Marie Moore and Raymond Slovensky. She is survived by and was a wonderful mother to her daughter and son in law, Christine and Mark Jukich of Massillon. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Megan Jukich of Columbus, Ohio, who she loved dearly. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. James Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. and on Monday at the church one hour before the service.
