Thane A. Dourm

Thane A. Dourm, 49, of Dalton, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2020. He was born on June 4, 1971 in Minerva to the late Ira and Judy (Daugherty) Dourm. He was a 1990 graduate of Minerva High School and he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Thane worked at Zermenos in automotive sales in Dalton. He enjoyed shooting guns, playing his guitar and cooking out on the grill, especially for their traditional steak dinners every Friday and Saturday. Thane’s greatest passion in life was his family. He was most content being at home, cuddled up on the couch with his loving fiancée, Julie, and his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by his fiancée, Julie Findley; children Katey (Maxwell) Riccio, Kaitlyn Findley, Thane (Tiffany) Dourm II and Antonio Henry; step-children Ted Croft, Christopher Croft, Jennifer Shuck, Eric Borowsky and Nicholas Barnhart; and his grandchildren Kason, Maxwell, Eva, Emma, Cadence, Farrah and Hudson. In addition to his parents, Thane was preceded in death by his grandson, Jaxon. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13th from 10-11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
