Thamon Foster, Jr.

Thamon Foster, Jr., 73, formerly of Massillon, passed away on February 23, 2018 at Heartland Health Care Center in Detroit, Michigan. He was born on July 15, 1944 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Thamon and Innie Mae (Nickerson) Foster, Sr. Thamon will be remembered for his laugh and ability to tell jokes. He also loved to play cards and spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Dre, Alonzo, Andrew, Aric, Aaron, Marcus and Daja Simpson, Andrea Sestito, Shirlisa, Leonard, and Ashley Baker; brother-in-law Bobby Swinney; Auntie Rejoice Mason. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Will Henry Foster and sister Maxine Simpson. A Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call from 9 a.m. at the funeral home until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
