Terry Thompson

Terry Thompson, 67, of Canton, passed away on February 24, 2023, following an extended illness.

He was born on March 9, 1955 to Elisha and Eddie Carolyn (Hall) Thompson in Montgomery, AL.

Terry was a graduate of Canton South High School, Class of 1974. He retired from the Hoover Company and owned and operated TLC Lawn Care.

Affectionately known as "Ice Man", Terry was a popular DJ in North Eastern Ohio. A former president of both the Brothers of the Hammer and the Vultures Motorcycle Club, (Canton Chapters), Terry was also an active member of TAW 58495. He was dedicated to his family; a loving father, brother and son. Terry loved riding motorcycles, custom cars, watching old western movies and listening to the blues. An avid fan of the Alabama University Crimson Tide, "Roll Tide" and a collector of vintage scale trucks.

Terry is survived by his father, Elisha Thompson; loving daughter, TaShowa L. Thompson; siblings, Kenneth Thompson, Yolanda Tolson, Yvette Floyd, Bruce Thompson, Lisa Thompson, and Essence Alston; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eddie Carolyn Thompson; and nephew, Bruce Anthony Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11am-12pm at Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, with a

funeral services to start at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Sherman Martin, officiating.
