Terry Lee Gehring

Terry Gehring, age 65 of North Canton., died suddenly on April 12, 2020. He was born on September 17, 1954 in Massillon to the late John and Mary (Easterday) Gehring. He was a 1973 graduate of Perry High School. Terry worked as a Steel Worker for Republic Steel over 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, and beating his brother in golf, and fishing. One of his proudest achievements was being in the top golfing team at the Friday night League 2013 at Edgewood Golf Course. Terry was a quiet person by nature, but also generous person, who would help out anyone in need. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Todd and Janey Gehring; his sister Kelly Gehring; his children Doug Gehring, Melanie (John) Coffy and Tom Gehring; his nephews James and Jason Gehring; his great-nephew Logan Gehring and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and his dad John, who he was very close to. A Private service will be held with burial at Sunset Hills Burial Park .
