Teresa J. Mccleary

Teresa J. McCleary, 58 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Teresa was born on November 1, 1958 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Donald E. and Lillian C. (Chetelat) Kilgore. Teresa was a lifelong resident of Massillon. She spent most of her life dedicating herself to raising her children and other children in the neighborhood. She was known as the 'Neighborhood Mother'. Teresa loved cooking, sitting around the campfire with friends and family, listening to classic rock music, watching Law & Order, Criminal Minds and NASCAR. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary A. Kilgore. She is survived by her children, Samantha (Jason) Dennis, Shawn (Breanna) McCleary, and Scottie McCleary, Jr.; her grandchildren, Lillian and Sara Dennis, Brycin, Gavyn, Kaylynn, and Quintin McCleary; her companion of 16 years Jamie H. Bricker; and her brothers and sisters, Ed (Kathi) Kilgore, Connie Schram, Kathy (Tim) Brand, Charlotte (Ron) Stroh, and Charlie (Melanie) Kilgore. A Celebration of Teresa's life will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
