Teddy Allen Croft

Teddy Croft, age 57 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 16, 2015. He was born in Barberton on May 13, 1958 to the late Fredrick and Dorothy Croft. He married his lifetime partner Ruth Ann Bowman on May 14, 1994 and they shared over 30 years together. Teddy was a groundskeeper at Massillon Cemetery and Rose Hill Memorial Gardens for many years. Teddy loved spending time fishing, watching NASCAR, listening to music, especially his favorite band KISS; going to car shows and concerts; working on his pride and joy in the garage, his 1966 Oldsmobile, but the thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, step-son, brother, uncle and friend. Teddy is survived by his loving wife Ruth; his children Ted (Bobbi Jo) Croft, Ashley Croft and Justin (Anna) Croft; his grandchildren, Logan, Chevelle, Arianna, Rayce, Julian, Lucas, Camran, Gabby, Chassady, and Amnihsty, Caydence, and soon to be baby boy in January; his sisters Dolly, Linda, Evie, Becky, and Missy; his step-mother-in-law Carolyn Conrad as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents Teddy is preceded in death by his brothers Buddy and Gary and his sisters Twila and Dottie. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service.
