Tabatha Marie Reighard

Tabatha Marie Reighard, 49, of Plain Township, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Tabatha was born on July 14, 1975 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of Ronnie Hicks and Dottie Reighard.

Tabatha was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1994 graduate of McKinley High School. She enjoyed shopping till she dropped, and loved her animals. Tabatha loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a very independent and a hard worker and will be remembered for her strength and resilience.

She is survived by her daughter, Ariana Reighard; mother, Dottie Reighard; brother and sisters, Missy (Anthony) Hudson, Christina Hicks, Tasha (Justin) Conrad, Tara Hicks, Brandon Hicks, and Amanda (Jayme) Randle; longtime companion, David Swartz; favorite nephew, Justin Betts; favorite four-legged companion, Levi; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Tabatha’s longtime companion David was her rock and her strength through her battle over the past years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Hicks and her aunt, Peggy Wade.

A Celebration of Tabatha’s life will be held at a later date.
