Sylvia Dean Jones

Sylvia D. Jones, 73, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2018 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born on February 12, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Harry and Dorothy (Dean) Steele. Sylvia worked as an ORT and retired from the medical field after 20 years of service. She more recently worked as an assistant deli manager at Bordner’s for 14 years. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching the Cleveland Indians and loved attending sporting events for her grandsons. Sylvia will be remembered for her kindness and compassion and for always putting others before herself. She will be deeply missed by her son Denny (Kelley) Jones; grandsons Chris, Branden and Dustin Jones; great-granddaughter Kenzleigh; and brothers Tom (Nancy) Steele and Harry Steele. In keeping with the family’s wishes, no services are planned at this time.
