Suzanne "Sue" Kay Spicer

Suzanne “Sue” K. Spicer, 79, of Massillon, passed away on July 27, 2019 at Amherst Meadows. She was born on July 19, 1940 in Massillon to the late Charles and Dorothy (McGuire) Spicer. Sue was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School. She worked as a certified respiratory therapist for Massillon Community Hospital where she retired from after 35 years. Sue was an avid sports fanatic. She loved all Ohio sports including the Massillon Tigers, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. Her greatest passion in life was shown through her dedication to her family. She was a second mother to her nieces and nephews. They were the light of her life. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry, Tom, Tim and Don Spicer. She will be deeply missed by her brother Rick Spicer of Lima, Ohio, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, sisters-in-law, friends and everyone that knew Sue. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2rd from 6-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A celebration of Sue’s life will follow at 7 p.m.
