Susan Kathryn Suttle

Susan Kathryn Suttle passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was one of 8 children born to the late Norman William and Mary Jane (Witmer) Suttle. Susan was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Canton Business College. She worked at the local office of the Social Security Administration for 25 years. After retiring from Social Security, she pursued a career in local real estate in the Stark County area. She is survived by 7 siblings, Mary Ann (Don) Gieffers, Bill (Linda) Suttle, Helen Suttle, Kurtz (Annette) Suttle, Joan Suttle, Mike (Tina) Suttle, and Patricia (Dr. James) Brenneman, and a very close friend of the family, Karen Coughlin. Also surviving are 10 loving nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and great nephews. Susan was a 25 year survivor of breast cancer and had many ups and downs with more good days than bad days. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and playing cards. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Fr. David Weikart and Fr. Robert Kaylor concelebrating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road N.E., Massillon, OH on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11:30-12:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
