Susan Denise Mullett Houk

Susan Mullett Houk, age 60 surrounded by her loving family passed away on February 22, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1955 to the late Don and Marcine Mullett. She was a 1973 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School and a 1975 graduate of Akron University. Susan was an Eye Technician in Canton and Sandusky for nearly 40 years. She was a diehard Dale Earnhardt Jr. NASCAR fan. Susan loved animals, especially dogs. She loved spending time with her family, particularly her niece, nephews and their children, whom she considered her own. She will forever be remembered as a loving and a devoted Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend. Susan is survived by her sister Diane (Chad) Green; her brother Michael Mullett; her nephews Kyle(Kelly) Green and Cory Green; her niece Kelsey Green; her great-niece Jillian; her great-nephews Michael, Ross, Henry, Seth, Justin and Will; as well as a host of friends. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11am. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 5 to 8P.M. Burial will be at Fort Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar. Donations can be made to the Erie and Stark County Humane Societies.
