A cheerful and jovial man, Stuart T. Allen age 75, has passed on to be with the Lord in Heaven. He began his life, born to Tillman "Tut" and Claudia (Matthews) Allen in 1937. He spent his childhood years in Canton and developed a love of football along with his brothers Ronald and Gerry Allen. It was also during this time that he began to develop his talent as an artist and became fascinated with drawing the human face. As Stuart grew into his teen years, he attended Timken and later Washington High School and played football as a tackle. After high school, Stuart began a new phase in his life in New York City. He lived in the Bronx, Brooklyn and eventually Newark, New Jersey. He remembered these fifteen years fondly and would share many memories of these times with his friends and family. While in New York, he would return to Massillon on a weekly basis to help his mother's bar, Daisy Cafe grow and prosper. After those fifteen exciting years in New York City, he returned to Massillon to remain there and eventually became the owner of Daisy Cafe. In 1976, Stuart met his future wife, Jean McKey and would eventually marry in 1977. At the time of the marriage, Stuart became a step father to Stacia King. During the marriage, Travis Tillman Allen, a son, was born in 1978. In 1979, Stuart was also blessed with a daughter, Misty Lynn Allen. Stuart and Jean have been married thirty-five years at the time ofhis passing. During his retirement years, Stuart became a grandfather "Papa Stuart" to four grandchildren. He was often their source of entertainment with all of his jokes and teasing. Stuart's son, Travis, married to Kate {Robertson} in 2001, gave him a granddaughter, Isabella Allen in 2006 and a grandson, Xavier Tillman Allen in 2010. Stuart's daughter, Misty, married Chris Hill in 2006 and blessed Stuart with two granddaughters, Alayna Hill in 2005 and Chryssa Hill in 2006. Stuart loved his grandchi1dren dearly and found great joy in them. Stuart is survived by his wife, Jean (McKey); his son, Travis (Kate) Allen; daughter, Misty (Christopher) Hill; step daughter, Stacia King; four beautiful grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Yvonne) Allen and Gerry (Patricia) Allen. The Lord's Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
