Stella R. Rager

Stella R. Rager, age 92 of Massillon, died on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Amherst Meadows. She was born on September 2, 1916 in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of the late George W. and Matilda (Grimminger) Rager. She was a Massillon resident for most of her life. She retired from Cleaners Hangers where she was a machine operator. Stella was a member of the First Assembly of God in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers John and Kermit Rager and her sisters, Lula Brackman and Ruth Johnson. She is survived by her sister Rosetta Marks of Lafayette, NC and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour before the service.
