Stanley G. Husted, 87, passed away on August 13, 2018 following an extended illness. He was born in Canton to the late Edward L. and Hilma M. (Feik) Husted on Sept 12, 1930. Stan was a veteran of the United States Army and a retiree of the Timken Company. Stan was member of the Dalton Rotary, Wayne County Committee for Crippled Children, and an active Boy Scout leader serving as an Assistant Scout Master and a Cub Scout Pack Leader. He was also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was a member of Cornerstone Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Blackledge) Husted, whom he married on May 11, 1951; their children, Dave (Michelle) Husted of North Canton, Debbie (David) Woloschuk of North Canton, Mark (Janice) Husted of Bath and Jack (Linda) Husted of Dalton; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two sisters Ann Evrit and Linda Essinger; and a sister-in-law, Wilma Husted. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Kohler; and a brother, William Husted. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday August 16, 2018 from 6pm-8pm and at Cornerstone Community Church, Dalton on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9:30am -10:30am with a funeral service at 10:30am. Pastor Tim Hull, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
