Spiridon G. Martzaklis

Spiridon G. Martzaklis, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was born in Anthonas, Ilia, Greece on May 2, 1935 to the late Georgios and Angeliki Martzaklis. Spiro’s life was completely dedicated to his family. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Massillon. He is survived by his sons, Gus (Melissa) and George Martzaklis both of Jackson Twp.; three grandchildren Stephanie, William and Jacob; brother Theodoros and sisters Magdelini and Yiannoula in Greece. In addition to his parents, Spiro was preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria S. Martzaklis whom he married on September 16, 1963 as well as brother, Pandelis Martzaklis. A private service will be held for the family and burial will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 364 First St. SE, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
