Somsanouck Gallo age 40, of Navarre passed away Saturday May 27, 2006 in North Carolina. She was born June 5, 1965 in Laos to Sone Boudty & Peuang Samnaneveth. Som and her mother came to the US in 1981 and lived in Medina; she was a 1986 graduate of Buckeye High School. Som and Donnie met in 1995 when they were both employed at Sterling Inc. and married in September 28, 1996. A proud day was December 13,1996 when she became a US citizen. Som was employed by Primary Packaging in Bolivar. She was a member of the Navarre Moose, Kendall Cliffs Climbing Gym and was a student at Stark Tech, majoring in accounting. Her friends and family will miss her companionship. Som was always there to do little things that made a big difference in the lives of everyone she knew. Making every effort to ensure others were comfortable. She was very outgoing and caring, and always put the interests of her friends and family above her own. Som would lend a hand and help out in any way she could, participating in activities to raise money to fight cancer, once even donated her hair to a friend’s child who had hair loss as a result of cancer treatments. She is survived by her husband Donnie Gallo with whom she shared 10 years of marriage. Her mother Peuang Samnaneveth of Cleveland; mother and father in law Bobby & Jeannie Gallo of Navarre, and a large and caring extended family and friends. Saturday at 11:00 A.M., family and friends will meet at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon to share their memories and support one another. Burial will follow at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. Friends may call Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home in Massillon and on Staurday one hour before the service.
