Shirley J. Knight

Shirley J. Knight, 73 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born on June 8, 1939 in Massillon to the late Walter & Ruth (Brunckhart) Fitting. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She retired from Heinz in 2001 after 26 years. Shirley enjoyed , bowling, bingo, bus trips and time spent with her family. She is survived by her sister, Wanda Geiger of Massillon, her aunt, Betty Miller of Bolivar, her Bichon Freise, Babe, one, niece, three nephews, ten great-nephews and great-nieces and four great-great nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Fitting. Friends may call at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00AM at the funeral home, Pastor Jeff Coggins, Officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
